The Feldenkrais Method@ is a unique approach to human movement and learning. It is one of the best ways to restore function after an injury or surgery, reduce chronic pain, enhance athletic performance, improve posture without force, and increase flexibility without stretching.
There are group classes called Awareness Through Movement (ATM) lessons, and private hands-on Functional Integration lessons. In both formats, you learn better body mechanics, discover your movement potential, and improve your comfort. As you let go of unnecessary muscular effort, you move more in accordance with the design of your skeleton, and get to know how good movement was meant to feel.
This leads to a reduction of strain and tension throughout your whole body and results in increased strength, grace and well-being. This learning is applied to improve all of life’s daily activities, as well as athletic and artistic skills.
